Big Green Q (BGQ) is a new, environmentally friendly, farm to table street food truck and restaurant (60th & Maple inside of Ted and Wally's) in Omaha, Nebraska. BGQ is the first food truck in the Midwest to run entirely on CNG (compressed Natural Gas). As an alternative energy vehicle, the BGQ truck is supported by the Nebraska Energy Dept., Nebraska Environmental Trust and by Metropolitan Utilities District (MUD) in its conversion to CNG.
Big Green Q is focused on locally sourced produce, breads, and antibiotic/hormone free meats. Big Green Q smokes and grills chicken, pork and Wagyu beef, fresh vegetables, and homemade tofu over Missouri lump charcoal. The smoking wood changes and is sourced from Missouri as well. All sauces are carefully crafted and initially include a tangy red BBQ, as well as a yellow mustard BBQ sauce. Big Green Q also specializes in made from scratch seasoned tater tots.
As the seasons change so will the menu!
